I have made a simple and understandable analysis of prices for tours to Crimea for you. Let's find out how much the tours cost in 2021! I tell you how the resort affects the cost, the number of stars, the availability of all-inclusive, the season and other factors. The review will help you buy a tour at the best price.

Prices for cities of Russia

The cost of a trip to Crimea primarily depends on the city of departure. The cheapest tours, as usual, are for tourists from Moscow and St. Petersburg. First, it's not far to fly. Secondly, tour operators in both capitals have the highest competition, which puts a lot of pressure on prices.

Let's see how much vouchers with a flight to Crimea cost in 2021 for different cities of Russia. For clarity and purity of comparison, I will give the prices for the cheapest tours with the same conditions (summer, 7 nights, for two people).

From Moscow20 000 ₽
From Saint-Petersburg17 000 ₽
From Yekaterinburg30 000 ₽
From Nizhny Novgorod26 000 ₽
From Ufa32 000 ₽
From Perm37 000 ₽
From Kazan25 000 ₽
From Novosibirsk26 000 ₽

Stars near the hotel

The cost of a trip to the Crimea is highly dependent on the star rating of the hotel. If, for example, in Turkey almost every hotel has at least a couple of stars, then in Crimea the picture is different. Simple guest houses, boarding houses and private accommodation are outnumbered here, there are fewer star hotels, and there are very few good hotels that match their rating. Therefore, between hotels with 1-2 stars (or none at all) and strong fives in Crimea, there is a real abyss both in terms of service and cost. This is how the price of tours from Moscow for 7 nights in the summer of 2021 changes according to the number of stars at the hotel:

  • Unrated - 20 000 ₽
  • 1-2 stars - 23 000 ₽
  • 3 stars - 31 000 ₽
  • 4 stars - 42 000 ₽
  • 5 stars - 73 000 ₽

There are only a few five-star hotels in Crimea. There is a relatively inexpensive five in Sevastopol - Aquamarine Resort & SPA. And the most luxurious hotels in Crimea are located in Yalta: the Crimean Breeze residence and the Mriya Resort & Spa - I have not seen tours of less than 200 thousand for two in a week.

Don't just chase the stars, but carefully read the reviews about the hotel, look at its location, the size of the rooms, the freshness of the renovation, the quality of the services and entertainment provided. You are more likely to get better service and more comfort in a strong three-note than in a weak four. See also the list of new hotels in Crimea.

It is very convenient to choose a good hotel by description and reviews on the Travelata and Level.Travel websites - for this we love them. When searching for a tour, tick the "Excellent" checkbox in the "Review Score" in the filters to filter out all bad hotels, as in the picture below.

Duration of rest

If possible, try to buy a ticket to Crimea for a longer period, because in terms of the cost of one day of rest, it turns out to be more profitable. If a tour for two for a week costs 10 thousand rubles, then a similar one for two weeks will cost not twice as much, but about 13-15 thousand.

"All inclusive"

There are not so many hotels operating under the all inclusive system so far, but nevertheless they exist.

The cheapest "all inclusive" vouchers to Crimea you can buy in the middle level boarding houses and hotels of 2-3 stars. Such tours from Moscow for the summer of 2021 cost from 40 thousand rubles for 7 nights for two: for example, to the Atelika Horizon boarding house.

There are hotels a little more expensive, but with very good reviews: for example, the rest house "Fedor Chaliapin" in Evpatoria with a rating of 4.8 points out of 5. An AI ticket to this hotel costs from 56 thousand rubles for two. A good option for an inexpensive but comfortable stay.

All-inclusive vouchers to 4-5 * hotels cost from 90 thousand rubles for two. Among the good ones - Alexandria 4 * in Yalta.

You will have a wider choice of hotels if you look for options with just full board instead of all inclusive.

Expensive and cheap resorts

Yalta is the most expensive Crimean resort. Almost all five-star hotels in Crimea are located here, and guest houses and hotels are more expensive than similar accommodation in other resorts. The rest of the resorts of the southern coast of Crimea (Alushta, Gurzuf, Alupka, Miskhora and others) are slightly more affordable, but still quite expensive. However, there are often cheap tours to Alushta, because there are many budget guest houses, however, far from the beach.

The most inexpensive tours to Crimea are sold to the resorts of western Crimea: to Evpatoria, Nikolaevka, Saki, Olenevka, Mezhvodnoye and others. Also, cheap tours can often be bought to Koktebel and Feodosia. Tours to Sudak are a little more expensive.

All resorts in Crimea are very different not only in terms of prices, but also in terms of beaches, nature, climate, infrastructure, convenience for families with children, and so on. Check out our complete guide to resorts and compare them.

Seasons

The most expensive time for a vacation in Crimea is July and August. During these two months, the locals go out of their way to make money for the year ahead. The season in Crimea is short and this affects prices.

If you want to relax in Crimea one and a half to two times cheaper, come in May, June or September. In spring and early summer, the weather is wonderful, there is still no heat, Crimea is green and blooming all over. This is a beautiful and pleasant time! It's also the perfect time to travel and sightseeing without the crowds.
