How to get from Charles de Gaulle airport to the center of Paris

1. How to get from the airport to Paris by train

One of the fastest and most convenient ways to get from Charles de Gaulle airport to the center of Paris without traffic jams is to use trains. There are two options:

  • commuter trains RER B;
  • SNCF TGV trains.

RER system trains (line B) allows you to get from the airport to the center of Paris (Denfert-Rochereau, Saint-Michel-Notre-Dame, Gare du Nord) and its suburbs. Ticket price € 9.75 to Paris-Châtelet les Halles, a major interchange where you can change to the metro. The duration of the trip is from 30 minutes, trains run until 12 at night.

Airport trains stop at two stations: Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 1 and Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 - TGV. Please note that different stations serve different terminals. Thus, the station Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 1 serves terminals 1 and 3, and Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 - TGV - terminal 2 ACDEF and G (terminal 2G is connected to 2F by a free shuttle N2). The railway station is located between terminals 2C-2D and 2E-2F and is called Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2 - TGV. You can get to the station from terminals 2A, 2C, 2D, 2E, 2F using the free bus N1. From Terminals 1 and 3, you can take the free CDGVAL shuttle to the station, while terminals 2G and 2F are connected by the free shuttle N2.

2. How to get from the airport to Paris by bus

There are several routes from Charles de Gaulle Airport to Paris:

  • Les Cars Air France buses;
  • Roissybus buses;
  • Buses No. 350, 351 and 19;
  • Night bus Noctilien night bus.

2.1. Les Cars Air France

Air France buses line 2 run from the airport to the center of Paris (Charles de Gaulle Etoile and Porte Maillot metro stations). There are bus stops at terminals 2A-2C, 2E-2F, 2D and 1. Buses run every 30 minutes until 23:00. Ticket price - 17 euros.

As with Charles de Gaulle Airport, there are many ways to get from Orly to Paris.

1. Electric trains RER C and RER B

1.1. RER C

First of all, you can get from this Paris airport to the city center by commuter trains - it's fast, simple and cheap. RER C connects Orly with the Pont de Rungis station. To get to the city, you need to take the Paris par le train bus to the Pont de Rungis station, where you take the GOTA or NORA trains in the direction of Pontoise or Montigny Beauchamp. And vice versa, if you need to get from Paris to Orly airport, you need to take a train going in the directions of Massy - Palaiseau or Pont de Rungis, and then change to a bus that will take you to the airport.

Paris par le train bus stops at the airport:

  • South Terminal (Sud) - Entrance C, stop 6.
  • Terminal West (Ouest) - Stop 7, Arrivals Hall.

Travel time: 25 minutes by RER train and 10 minutes by bus.

1.2. RER B

ORLYVAL shuttle stops at the airport: terminal south - entrance K, west - entrance A, arrivals hall. Travel by shuttle between the terminals is free.

2. Tram 7

Tram 7 (T7) runs from the airport to the terminus of metro line 7 Villejuif-Louis Aragon. Travel time - about 45 minutes, fare - EUR 1.70 (one-time t + ticket). The tram runs from 5:30 am to 0:30 am. This is the cheapest way to get from the airport to Paris.

3. Buses

3.1. Orlybus

From Orly, you can get to Paris by Orlybus buses, which connect the airport to Denfert-Rochereau station. Buses in the south terminal can be found at entrance C, in the west - entrance D, arrivals hall. Ticket price - 7.50 euros... Travel time is 30 minutes.

3.2. Air France buses

3.3. Buses No. 183 and 91.10

Bus no. 183 goes to Porte de Choisy Station. Fare - 2 euros... Travel time is about 50 minutes.

4. Taxi from the airport to Paris

How to get from Beauvais airport to Paris

Beauvais airport is located far from Paris - it is inconvenient, expensive and long to get to it. 1. By bus
