Our opinion on prices in Phuket
How much does a vacation in Phuket cost? Is it expensive or cheap? It all depends on what to compare with. For example, prices for food, hotels, transport, services in Phuket are higher than in Pattaya, Bangkok or in the resorts of Vietnam.
Everything is very, very expensive! This is how we assessed the situation on the island when we came here for the first time. At that time, our budget was modest, and Phuket prices were biting hard.
However, we quickly got used to it - we learned how to find inexpensive food, fruits, necks. We got used to, adjusted and fell in love with the island. Despite the prices, we really liked Phuket. We are happy to return here to live and relax by the warm turquoise sea.
Not cheap, but worth it! We are of this opinion now. Everything is more expensive in Phuket than in other resorts in Thailand or Vietnam. But what a rest here! Stunning beaches, clear waters, picturesque landscapes. Phuket is much better than ugly and cheap Pattaya. I am sure you will agree that you can overpay a little for the quality of your stay.

Our free flight experience... We flew to Phuket for free! The route was as follows: Moscow - Abu Dhabi (5 days spent in Dubai) - Bangkok - Phuket. What to try Thai food? Mandatory - all fruits! Exotic, tasty, healthy. My favorite Thai food is yellow noodle soup. Try pad thai, tom yum soup, seafood, Thai sweets. But rice in Thailand is poorly cooked. I do not recommend fruit necks either - there is almost one ice in the composition.
