The Kingdom of Spain with sunny Barcelona is one of the most temperamental and vibrant countries. Bullfighting and flamenco are the hallmarks of this amazing land. And what mountains in Monserratt, what a sea! Having been here once, you return to these beautiful places again and again. We were here in May 2014, in the summer of 2016, in the spring of 2018, in the fall of 2019 and will be here more than once. We love Barcelona the most! We are a little biased towards Spain (we love it very much), but we will try to be objective in the article 🙂
How to travel to Spain cheaply? Let's figure it out!
There are a lot of different resorts in Spain and you can have a great vacation at each:
- in Catalonia: Costa Brava, Costa del Maresme, Costa del Garraf, Costa Dorada;
- in Valencia: Costa Blanca;
- in Andalusia: Costa del Sol, Costa de la Luz;
- in the West Bank: Galicia, Costa Verde, Cantabria;
- in the Balearic Islands: Formentera, Ibiza, Menorca, Mallorca;
- in the Canary Islands: Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Tenerife, Gran Canaria.
But where to relax in Spain cheap? Which resort is the best? The most fashionable youth resort in Spain is undoubtedly Ibiza. Famous and famous youth spend hot days and nights here, inviting the most popular DJs from all over the world to their enchanting parties. If you love nightlife, hangouts is the place for you! You can read how best to book a tour online in our article.
For a family vacation, calm resorts are best suited: Costa Brava, Mallorca, Costa Dorada. Colorful Barcelona surprises with its variegated colors and lively streets, and life never sleeps on the Costa Blanca, especially at night! We ourselves went both to the Costa Brava (Lloret de Mar) on a tour (we took it on Travelata) and on our own to Barcelona.

Where to relax in Spain as cheaply as possible? The popularity and infrastructure of the territory is of great importance. The cheapest cities - these are old and incredibly cozy Lloret de Mar, Calella, Cambrils, Blanes, Pineda del Mar, Mallorca... But staying in Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao or San Sebastian is a little more expensive.
The first youth resort in Spain of course Ibizafollowed by Benidorm - small Spanish Las Vegas, Magaluf in Mallorca, Salou and Lloret de Mar. We like most of all cozy and sunny Barcelonawhich combines beach and tranquility with a vibrant nightlife, shopping and beautiful Gaudí architecture.
Go on vacation on your own or buy a tour?
It is very easy to use the services of a tour operator and is often cheaper than an independent holiday. For example, back in 2014, we flew on a tour to Spain for only 16 thousand rubles per person (32 thousand for two). But independent travel will be cheaper if you plan to visit several countries (as we did in 2018 - Norway, France, Spain, Portugal).
To buy a cheap tour to Spain will have to make an effort, and not just pay for a ticket and pack your bags. 🙂 When buying a tour, you must take into account all the facts: from the tour operator, where to book the cheapest tours to where exactly to look for and buy a tour. You also need to understand in advance what to buy cheaply in Spain as a souvenir for family and friends (usually these are magnets, olive oil, football paraphernalia, and jamon).
How to find cheap tours to Spain?
Numerous travel agencies offer a wide range of a wide variety of tour packages. Last minute tours to Spain are much cheaper than scheduled departures. In this case, you need to wait until the last, but in the end, the burning tour may not be enough for you (you decide whether to risk it or not). But you can buy tours almost half the price by buying tours in winter or spring with early booking (we personally do this).

Of course, you can rent a bungalow when deciding to go on vacation to savages at a lower price, but you have to pay for comfort. In addition, cheap tours to Spain from Moscow will deprive you of problems with choosing a carrier and arriving at the place from the airport. And air tickets can often cost you more than the cost of the tour. 🙂 Therefore, it is more profitable (if you plan to fly only to Spain) to consider the ticket!

Getting out on your own in the summer to the sea in Spain with the whole family is not an easy task. Not everyone can organize and carry out a trip, predict and calculate all possible expenses. But when traveling on your own, you can visit several countries at once, save on accommodation and spend 10-14 days much more exciting than a tour. It is worth planning everything: from the time, place and duration of your vacation, through excursions and beach vacations, to buying souvenirs and returning home.

The cheapest flights to Barcelona and other resorts are with early booking (as well as tours to Spain). Ticket sales start six months before departure. Lack of luggage is a plus in the piggy bank. But if it is available, payment should be made when buying a ticket, otherwise the cost of its transportation at the airport will double. It is also worth registering in advance (it is usually paid at the airport).

Advice!
If you choose low-cost airlines (for example Ryanair), then be sure to look from which and in which airport a plane will arrive! The airline often uses non-main airports, from which it can cost a pretty penny to get to the city - especially if you arrive at night. 🙂
Quite recently, on our trip, we did not take this into account, and instead of Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, we flew to Beauvais Airport at night! I had to book a hotel for the night, and then get to the capital for another 30 Euro.
Promotions for air tickets from Moscow to Barcelona and other cities are quite common. For example, tickets for a direct flight to and from Alicante can be purchased for only 99 euros, while their usual price is 500 euros. Cheap flights to Barcelona and other Spanish resorts can be found at www.easyjet.com, www.jetfly.co.uk, www.norwegian.no, www.ryanair.com. It is best to search all airlines at once using the Skyscanner search engine.
