Personally, I solved this question for myself and this year I moved to live in Vietnam, of course, not forever, but only for three months. Why do you ask? Probably seen enough of the Russian population, which in large numbers leaves Russia and leaves for the winter in warm countries as soon as the first snow begins to fall.

Why move abroad for the winter?
If you grew up on the Siberian side of our country, then there is hardly a person who would love winter in the depths of his soul. If you give such a person the will to act, then it is unlikely that he will return back to frost. Increasingly, I began to notice the movements of my acquaintances to other countries, first left alone, then a couple more, at the moment the number of migrations is growing, and many have not returned back, having remained at a permanent place of residence in New Zealand.

Why do you need to go abroad for the winter? Probably for the fact that life is one and you can't wait to see more sun, new impressions, see new people and discover something new in gastronomic travel. The most important thing is not to see the snow, not to feel the costs of frost on yourself, not to wear a bunch of clothes.

Of the huge number of my acquaintances, and I have about 2,000 of them, 90 percent go abroad every winter, the rest live there on a permanent basis. Why go back and forth, you ask? Many cannot leave their loved ones and relatives, others support the business. All the rest, living abroad on a permanent basis, do not even think to come back.

Wouldn't other cities be suitable for waiting out the Russian winter? They will do, but I am repulsed by some moments, for example, if you take India (Delhi), then after I was told that rats are running around here in broad daylight and this is normal, then the desire to go there disappeared. I understand that this type of rodent is popular in any country and most often in Asia, but it is captivating that I have not seen them in Vietnam. In addition, in Delhi you can see not a lot of fascinating things, there are very few Russians and it is very difficult to get on your feet when the tourist life is not very developed, and for me this is the main factor.
Why is life in Nha Trang so easy for a Russian? Yes, nothing better than in Russia! Here are the same problems and corruption schemes, the standard of living is an order of magnitude lower, there are a huge number of disadvantages for living on a permanent basis for our person, but still I found something that I have not seen in our country - a calm and moderate life, where no one is anywhere he is not in a hurry and does not try to grab a bigger piece of power and earn an extra penny on his own friends, everyone here is quite friendly and finally you do not feel the feeling of being poor.

As for work, you can unofficially get a job anywhere: get a job as a guide, a cook in Russian restaurants, a fisherman, repair bikes or other equipment, in extreme cases it is very good to take up electronics, sell equipment. You can earn money here on everything and not be afraid that you will be left without money, this is the feeling I have at a permanent place of work in Russia, well, I don’t feel protected.
