Mosque "Heart of Chechnya"

The religious center and the most grandiose building in Chechnya. Opening date - 2008. Occupies an area of ​​5 thousand m2... The height of the main building is 32 m, it is crowned with a cascade of domes. Four 63-meter minarets rise along the perimeter. The interior is finished in white marble. Of particular value are 36 chandeliers made of bronze and gold, reminiscent of the silhouettes of the main Muslim temples. Evening multi-level illumination makes the appearance of the mosque even more spectacular.

Lake Kezenoy-Am

The largest natural body of water in the North Caucasus. Located at the foot of the Andean ridge at an altitude of 1.8 thousand meters above sea level. Its greatest depth - 72 m, area - 2.5 km2... Almost all of its territory is part of the museum-reserve. The flora and fauna of the gorge, as well as numerous historical and architectural monuments - battle towers, religious buildings, castle complexes, ancestral crypts, burial grounds are subject to protection.

Ushkalo towers

Two identical 12-meter high stone towers built into the rock relief. They are located on the territory of the famous Argun gorge. They were built in the XI century. The convenient location hid them from enemies, but at the same time made it possible to detect danger in time and control the road and bridge located nearby. One of the towers was destroyed to the ground in 1944. The restoration works were carried out in 2011.

Grozny-City

An ultra-modern quarter of skyscrapers in the center of Grozny, consisting of residential buildings, a hotel and a business center. Area - 4.5 hectares. It was designed by the fashionable architect Jalal Kadiev. Built from 2005 to 2011. The tallest building in the complex is called "Phoenix" and has 40 floors. The burial complex includes watchtowers, altars and dozens of crypts with human remains. Some buildings have preserved petroglyphs. The territory of the necropolis is considered one of the most inaccessible places in Russia. A special permit is required to visit it.

Phakoch Castle

Medieval architectural complex in the vicinity of the village of Itum-kali. Consists of stone watchtowers, residential buildings, a water mill and a fence. Occupies an area of ​​17 thousand m2... National Museum of the Chechen Republic

One of the oldest museums in Chechnya. It has been leading its history since 1924. Unfortunately, during the hostilities, most of the museum funds were destroyed - priceless items of the cultural and historical heritage of the region. In 2007, the museum squares were restored. Today about 30 thousand exhibits are kept here. There are exhibitions devoted to ethnography, archeology, fine arts, the Great Patriotic War, the first president.

Aimani Kadyrova Mosque

Built in Argun in 2014. Made in an ultramodern style. It bears the name of the wife of the first president of the republic. It can accept up to 15 thousand believers at a time. The walls are decorated with rare marble, the prayer hall is crowned with a 23-meter dome, 55-meter minarets rise nearby. During the day, the vaults of the temple change color depending on the weather, at night it is illuminated by 96 floodlights and 50 thousand LEDs. There is a huge crescent moon with a star at the entrance.

Museum "Dondi-Yurt"

A private museum in the courtyard of one of the residents of Urus-Martan's own house. Opened to visitors in 1991. Occupies an area of ​​30 acres. It is a copy of an ancient Chechen settlement with a residential building, towers and crypts. An extensive collection of antiques includes dishes, clothes, jewelry, household items and interiors from different eras. Museum "Shira-Yurt"

It was opened in 2014 in the village of Germenchuk. The name of the museum is translated as "old settlement". This is exactly a recreated copy of the Chechen aul, in which the ancestors of local residents lived for many centuries. Here you can see ancient buildings - a mosque, residential buildings, a mill, a smithy, a stable, an infirmary, an elder's house, as well as numerous household items. At the entrance rises the main asset of the Chechens - a 25-meter watchtower.

Lake Galanchozh

One of the most beautiful lakes in Chechnya.Located in the upper reaches of the Gekhi River, at an altitude of 1500 m above sea level, surrounded by meadows and mountain peaks. The restorers have preserved the original appearance of the tower, having repaired only the wooden staircases and ceilings between the floors.

Later, it was restored along with the central avenue, which today bears the name of Putin.

A. Kadyrov National Culture Park

It was opened in 2012 after a large-scale reconstruction. Area - 8 hectares. All conditions for a family vacation have been created. There are gazebos, a summer cinema, a swimming pool for jet skis, an amusement area, a trampoline town, a zoo, fountains and cascading waterfalls. Spring "Maiden's Braid"

The original landmark of the village of Kharachoy in the Vedeno district. The stream of the spring descends from a high hill and flows, shimmering in the sun, along a thin trough formed by the salts of the source. The view of the spring really resembles a girl's braid; a local legend is associated with the name. At the foot of the spring, there is a landscaped area on which a monument to Zelimkhan Kharachoevsky, a famous abrek, who came to quench his thirst and give his horse a drink, is erected.

Leo Tolstoy Ethnographic Museum

In the village of Starogladovskaya Lev Tolstoy lived in 1851-53, wrote his first story "Childhood". In memory of this event, a museum was opened here. Among its exhibits are personal belongings, manuscripts and books of the writer, items related to his service in the Caucasus. There is even a record of his voice. Stele "Grozny - Center of the World"

A symbol of peace and harmony that appeared in 2000 at the entrance to Grozny. It is a huge globe mounted on a concrete pedestal. Around the entire perimeter it is surrounded by a wide ribbon, which says that Grozny is the center of the world. A Muslim crescent sign is installed next to the globe. Created after destructive wars, the stele is designed to serve as a testament to future generations to preserve peace and tranquility in their native land.

Light and music fountain in Grozny

It was opened in 2015. Even the famous fountain in Dubai surpasses in some characteristics. Made in the form of a national ornament. It has 3,600 projectors for illumination and 248 cannons that release flames up to 60 m high. Two water screens have been created for video broadcasts.
