Malpensa Airport in Milan: how to get there

Malpensa Airport (MXP) is an international airport in Italy, the largest of the three airports in Milan and the busiest. It is located 45 km from the center of Milan and is the main air gateway to Northern Italy.

The airport has two terminals: the first serves regular flights, and the second is intended for charter and low-cost carriers. There is a round-the-clock service between terminals free shuttle... From 5:15 am to 10:45 pm, it runs every 7 minutes, and at night every 30 minutes. You can get from Malpensa Airport to Milan by train, bus, taxi and a rented car - we will talk about this below. By train

You can get from the airport to the center of Milan and back by Malpensa Express (Trenord trains). Trains leave from Cadorna and Milano Centrale stations and arrive at the airport railway station, which is located on the ground floor of Terminal 1. Trains run from 4:28 am to 12:26 am every half hour.

Part of the trains leaving from the Central Station (platform 3) to Malpensa airport and vice versa, stops at Milano Porta Garibaldi, Milano Bovisa and Saronno (about 14 per day) - travel time with these stops is about 43 minutes. The rest of the trains additionally stop at Busto Arsizio FNM, Rescaldina, Castellanza and Ferno-Lonate, so allow for more time before going to the airport just in case.

From the station Cadorna (platform 1) about 44 direct flights per day (travel time - about 29 minutes). There are also trains that make stops at Milano Bovisa, Saronno, Busto Arsizio Nord - the trip will take about 36 minutes.

The fare is 12 euros one way and 18 euros round trip. Children's ticket - 6 and 9 euros, respectively (children under 4 years old are free). By bus

From Central Station you can get to Malpensa airport by STIE Autostradale and Air Pullman buses. STIE Autostradale buses stop at Terminal 1 (at the second on request) and leave from the station every 20 minutes. You can buy tickets from the driver. From the station, buses run from 4 am to 11 pm, from the airport - from 6 am to 0:30 am. Travel time is about 50 minutes.

Air Pullman (Malpensa shuttle) buses will also take you to the Central Station... Stops: Terminal 1 - between Gates 3 and 4, Terminal 2 - in front of the exit. A one-way ticket costs € 10, for children € 5. Departures from the airport from 5 am to 1:20 am (stop Fiera Milanocity (V.le Renato Serra) - on request), from the station - from 3:45 to 00:30 (stop at Terminal 2 on request). Get from Malpensa airport to EXPO / Fiera Milano City you can take the direct MALPENSA Bus, which does not make stops. Departure from Malpensa: 8:30, 9:30, 10:30, 11:30, 12:30. Departure from the RHO FIERA Exhibition Center: 14:30, 15:15, 15:45, 16:15, 16:45, 17:15, 17:45, 18:15, 18:45, 19:30. Tickets must be purchased from the driver.

Bergamo airport: how to get to Milan

Bergamo Airport (Orio al Serio, BGY) is located 45 kilometers from the center of Milan and 3 kilometers from the center of Bergamo. The airport serves charters and European low-cost airlines and is a major hub for Ryanair. You can get from Bergamo Airport to Milan by train, bus, taxi and rental car. By train

There is no direct train from the airport - first you need to take ATB buses to the Bergamo railway station, and then take the Trenitalia trains to Milan. The ATB (Airport Bus) buses run every 20 minutes and will take you to Bergamo train station in 10-15 minutes. A bus ticket costs 2.30 euros. The first bus from the airport is at 5:57 am, the last at 0:30.

A ticket for the Trenitalia train to Milan Central Station costs from 5.5 euros, trains run frequently, from 4:56 am to 11:02 pm.

By bus

Oriento shuttle Is the easiest way to get from Bergamo airport to Milan directly. The ticket price is 4 euros. The first departure from the airport is at 4:05 am, the last one is at 1:00 am. The first bus leaves the station at 2:50 am, the last one at 10:10 pm. Buses run every 20 minutes early in the morning and every 20 minutes throughout the day. It is better to arrive at the bus stop about 15 minutes before departure. Stop at the airport - in the arrivals area, stop number 1.

By taxi

In the arrivals area of ​​Bergamo airport, you can find taxis such as Radiotaxi.   • ATM city bus no. 73 runs on the Milan Piazza San Babila M1 (red metro line) - Linate route every 20 minutes. The first bus leaves at 5:35 am, the last one at 00:35. The cost is 1.5 euros.

Transfer
