Itinerary for voracious travelers: Riga, Barcelona, Malta, Milan and Vilnius in one trip for less than 13 thousand rubles for all flights! 5 cities and 5 European countries: who will undertake to make the route a reality?
It has been a long time since I laid out the routes of budget independent travel for readers. I am correcting myself and please you with a chic option of a trip to Europe, within which you can visit five wonderful places: Riga, Barcelona, the island of Malta, Milan and Vilnius.
We'll choose Moscow as our starting and ending point - it's usually the cheapest to fly from the capital. Instead of Moscow, you can substitute your own city, but the total price in this case is likely to increase slightly. You can also replace the flight dates with others that suit you (we will consider an example of a trip in May 2015). In general, here you can change anything and how you want - turn on your imagination and make routes to your taste. The option described below is just an example, one out of a million possible budget travel routes in Europe. So go for it, travel cheap and bright!
Attention: do not forget about the need to pay for baggage and hand luggage in excess of the norm, and in general, always carefully study the rules of the low-cost airlines whose tickets you buy in order to avoid additional fees when checking in for the flight.
We fly to Barcelona via Riga: 5525 rubles.
The first task is to get to Europe. As a rule, this is the most expensive part of the trip; it will be much cheaper to travel within Europe. The Latvian low-cost airline Air Baltic pleases with a rather pleasant price for tickets to Barcelona from Moscow - you can fly in for only 5525 rubles. The flight is carried out with a transfer in Riga: 8 hours between flights is enough time to walk a little around the city and see the main sights.
Please note: from Riga you will fly to El Prat airport (BCN), and you will need to fly to the next point of travel from Girona airport.
Ticket example:
Flight to Malta: 1880 rubles.
The low-cost airline Ryanair is ready to take anyone from Barcelona to Malta for only 1,880 rubles (about 28 euros). Chic!
An example of a ticket from the Aviasales search engine:
We fly to Milan: 655 rubles.
655 rubles (10 euros) - this is how much Ryanair wants to receive from us for the opportunity to fly from Malta to Northern Italy. We give the airline what we need and in return we get the opportunity to continue our exciting and damn budget travel across Europe.
Please note: you arrive at the airport of Bergamo, which, I think, is quite good - Milan is only an hour away by train, and this small town itself deserves the attention of a traveler.
An example of a ticket found on Skyscanner:
We fly to Vilnius: 2292 rubles.
A flight across half of Europe will also not require large expenditures: you can fly from Milan to the capital of Lithuania for less than 2300 rubles. The best price is again offered by the Irish low-cost airline Ryanair.
Skyscanner ticket example:
Return to Moscow: 2313 rubles.
In Vilnius, our travel route across Europe ends, and from here you can fly to Moscow extremely cheaply on Transaero flights. The choice of dates is quite large, so you can stay late or, conversely, take off early.
We add up the cost of all air tickets on our route: 5525 + 1880 + 655 + 2292 + 2313 = 12665 rubles - which is less than 200 euros! Agree, not bad for such a large-scale and eventful trip.
Such a trip will definitely please and be remembered! Make up your mind!
