Do Russians need a visa to Spain in 2021? Yes, you need to get a Schengen type C visa. It is easy to do it yourself - it is not at all necessary to overpay to travel agents. You are guaranteed to receive it if you collect the package of documents correctly. It is believed that the Spaniards are loyal and willing to issue visas for a long time. This is so - this time we received a multishengen for 1 year (but the Czech curmudgeons gave a visa only for the dates of the trip!).

Documents for a visa to Spain in 2021

To begin with, I will give a package of documents for a visa to Spain in the order in which they should be laid out when submitting to a visa center or consulate. And then let's get down to the details.

Here are what you need visa documents to Spain in 2021:

  • a profile with a photo;
  • hotel or hotel reservations;
  • insurance;
  • booking air tickets or other transport;
  • economic guarantees;
  • financial guarantees;
  • copy of the passport;
  • a copy of the old passport;
  • copy of the internal passport;
  • original of a valid passport;
  • the original of the old passport.

We advise you to lay out the documents in this order! Now let's move on to the nuances and subtleties.

Filling out an application for a visa to Spain in 2021

Download the questionnaire and fill it out on the computer or by hand in English or Spanish. Print it on both sides of the sheet, that is, on 2 sheets. We always fill out the questionnaire by hand with black paste in English. Take your time and write without blots in block letters.

If your child does not have a passport and is included in the parent's passport, then he also needs a profile with a photo.

Photo. Glue one color photo 3.5 x 4.5 cm to the questionnaire, just attach another to the documents. Photo requirements are standard, they are known in any photo studio. The photo must be new, no more than 6 months old.

Let's talk in more detail about the items in the questionnaire that usually cause difficulties when filling out.

Items 5, 6 and 7. In paragraph 5 - place of birth - we write, as in the passport. I just have USSR. Item 6 - USSR, if you were born before the collapse of the USSR, and RUSSIAN FEDERATION, if after. Clause 7: citizenship at the present time - RUSSIAN FEDERATION, at birth - similar to clause 6.

Clause 16. We just write RUSSIAN FEDERATION, no FMS number is needed.

Clause 19. I wrote as a freelancer (FREELANCER), Lesha is an individual entrepreneur (INDIVIDUAL ENTREPRENEUR).

Clause 20. For freelancers, unemployed and retired people - a dash, for individual entrepreneurs - name and patronymic, telephone number, registration address. For workers - the data of your organization.

Clause 24. Don't be shy and ask for multiple entries.

Clause 25. We indicated exactly as many days as the trip is planned for.

Clauses 29 and 30. Your arrival and departure dates.

Clause 31. The name of your hotel / the name of the person you will be staying with / the address of your stay. We have provided a numbered list of hotels. Below are the spaces for the address and phone number, also numbered for convenience. Hotel e-mail was not written.

Clause 32. Tourists do not need to fill out, this is only for a business visit.

Clause 33. We write YES as in the sample and put the appropriate checkboxes. If you pay for the costs yourself, you need the left column. Choose the means: we indicate cash, credit card, prepaid transport.

Even if you have a debit card, mark it as a credit card. If the hotel is paid, and not just a canceled reservation, then choose a prepaid place of residence.

Confirmation of placement

For Spain, a hotel reservation with Booking.com is suitable - we have made a free cancellable one. A document from Airbnb will work as well. Do not forget to cancel your booking some time after receiving your visa, otherwise the fine will be charged. Please be aware that some hotels will hold the reservation fee.

Rumors and rumors. They say that the consulate sometimes calls hotels and checks the validity of the reservation, so it is important to indicate the hotel numbers correctly. There is also an opinion that the more expensive the booked hotel is, the higher the likelihood of getting a long-term multishengen. Whether this is really so, I do not know. We booked 2 * or 3 * hotels with different prices - both for 40 euros per day and for 100.

Important: the booking must contain in English the names of everyone who applies for a visa with you. You must have accommodation for all days of your stay!

Insurance

Get insurance online on the sites Sravn.ru or Cherehapa - they compare prices from all major insurance companies. You can choose a policy according to the parameters you need and the best price. The cost of the policy is from 300 rubles per week.

It must be valid in all Schengen countries and cover the entire period of stay. Insurance coverage - at least 30 thousand euros. We have provided insurance from Tinkoff Bank, which is issued free of charge for a year with an All Airlines card.

Flight booking

We had paid tickets. We do not advise you to cheat and draw tickets in Photoshop - they can check and refuse a visa. They took from me not only the itinerary receipt, but also the ticket payment receipt that Pegasus sends to the post office.

Economic guarantees

This is a confirmation that you will return to Russia. For a visa to Spain, a certificate from the place of work is suitable (preferably on an official letterhead with an indication of salary and length of service, stamp and signature) or a certificate on the 2NDFL form. Everything should be relevant - 1 month from the date of issue.

For entrepreneurs - copies of the PSRN, TIN and declaration.

Freelancers, of course, skip this point, but they can recoup in the next point.

Financial guarantees

At your choice: a bank statement on the bank's letterhead, traveler's checks, a certificate of purchase of currency, a credit card with a check, which reflects the balance on the account. You need to have 73.59 euros per day per person. Everything must be up-to-date - 1 month from the date of issue.

We provided:

  • an account statement in "Sberbank" (it costs 100 rubles on a bank letterhead with a seal and signature - as it turned out, it can be free) - it is made instantly;
  • a copy of the front side of the card (credit / debit, no difference);
  • a regular check from an ATM about the balance on the card;
  • a certificate in English and Russian from the Tinkoff bank on the same card - we have two All Airlines and one Black.

For sponsors: sponsorship letter and financial guarantees.

Passports

Need to photocopy all pages of all valid passports, even blank... Printing on A4 sheets sequentially (!!!) from both sides. Canceled passports - at the discretion. If you decide to submit, then all of its pages also need to be rendered. We rented both the new and the old one.

Don't forget about internal passport - there you need all the sheets where there are marks.

The passport must be valid for at least 3 months after the last expected date of departure from the Schengen area. It must contain at least 2 blank pages.

Biometrics

The visa application center advises you to submit your biometric data again, even if you have done so recently. Agree, it's free and will increase your chances of getting a visa.
