Chinese and Japanese restaurants

Dagens rätt / lunch is the so-called dish of the day, or business lunch, and it costs significantly less than its counterparts on the menu - from 70 to 120 CZK. Dagens, as a rule, is open only at certain hours (from 11 to 14-15 hours) - depending on the institution. A set lunch includes a main course of your choice, salad, bread, drink (water, juice ...), tea or coffee. All restaurants and cafes in Sweden offer such a lunch on weekdays, but every day the "dish of the day", except Thursday, is different. By tradition, thick and aromatic pea soup and divine pancakes with fruit, cream or jam are served every Thursday.
Grocery galleries
Grocery galleries are a cluster of small stalls under one roof, a kind of covered markets in Swedish. Visit the famous food galleries Söderhallarna, Hötorgshallen and Ouml; stermalmshallen for a taste of the Swedish daily life - locals come here for fresh food or for a snack. Surprisingly, some pavilions have a long history - they were passed down from generation to generation. In the gallery you will find tons of stalls with fresh pastries, cheeses, sausages, seafood, fresh vegetables and fruits. In addition, to experience the national flavor, you should sit down in a cafe or restaurant and taste traditional Swedish dishes while watching the bustle of the market. Tourists come here to admire the old interiors of the shops, which are lovingly decorated by the owners. Opening hours: Monday to Thursday from 9:30 to 18:00, Friday from 9:30 to 19:00, Saturday from 9:30 to 16:00.
Hötorgshallen, or Hötorg Hall, is another grocery market where you can sample the freshest produce. Opening hours: Monday to Thursday from 10:00 to 18:00, Friday from 10:00 to 18:30, Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00.
Please note that grocery galleries are closed on Sundays and public holidays.
