Lower prices for housing in the private sector in Abkhazia by the sea occur in late spring and mid-autumn. True, in May and October, no one guarantees stable weather.
When looking for options, always specify exactly where the guest house or cottage is. The site may indicate the main resort, for example, Pitsunda. In fact, housing is located in neighboring villages - Ldzaa or Alahadzy. Prices are lower there, but the infrastructure is less developed.
Check the location on the map. The coast of Abkhazia is hilly. If you are not far from the sea in a straight line, it does not mean that it is easy to get there. It is very difficult to descend to the beach by steep stairs or paths with young children and elderly tourists!
Abkhazian service is not for the pretentious. It is inferior to what you can get on the Black Sea coast of the Krasnodar Territory and in Georgia.
