By plane

Anapa has its own airport, where planes fly from many cities of Russia. True, most of the flights are seasonal, that is, summer. Check on well-known search engines Aviasales and Skyscanner, which flights are from your city to Anapa and how much tickets cost. Be sure to check out our tips on how to buy cheap flights.

Tickets to Anapa are inexpensive. Prices for a roundtrip flight in summer 2021:

  • From Moscow - from 7 400 ₽
  • From St. Petersburg - from 12 000 ₽

In the off-season, prices are about one and a half times lower.

From Moscow, St. Petersburg, Perm, Kazan, Yekaterinburg and other cities, you can cheaply fly to Anapa with the low-cost Pobeda low-cost airline. Do not forget that baggage is paid additionally!

By train

There is a railway station in Anapa. In summer, there are many seasonal trains from different cities of Russia. From Moscow, trains run all year round, but from St. Petersburg and many other cities away from the Moscow branch in the off-season you will have to get there with a change.

Personal experience... At one time I had a chance to travel south from Perm in the summer by train. What a pleasure, I tell you! It was in 2014, since then we have been traveling to the Black Sea only by our own car or by plane. Keep in mind that it is unbearably stuffy in the old carriages in summer and very crowded due to the influx of tourists. So I advise you to choose a branded train or get to Anapa in a different way.

I advise you to look for train tickets on Tutu.ru - the service is convenient because there you can read reviews about all trains and even carriages in order to choose the most comfortable and with pleasant guides!

Let's take a look at the prices. A one-way ticket from Moscow to Anapa in 2021 costs:

  • reserved seat - from 2 700 ₽
  • upper compartment - from 2 700 ₽
  • lower compartment - from 5 500 ₽
  • CB - from 6 900 ₽
  • luxury - from 30,700 rubles.

By bus

You can also get to Anapa by bus. Buses from most major cities start operating from the beginning of the holiday season, but from the capital they run all year round. You can find out the schedule, prices and purchase a ticket on the Tutu.ru website.

From Moscow, buses leave from the Kazansky railway station and the Bitsa bus station. A ticket costs 2,500 rubles, and you need to spend almost a day on the way. A bus ticket from St. Petersburg costs 2500-3000 rubles, from Perm - 3500 rubles, from Yekaterinburg - 4000 rubles.

By car

It is not difficult to get to Anapa by car, it is much easier than to Sochi, because the most difficult part of the road with serpentines and terrible traffic jams will remain farther. Almost every year I drive my car to the south of Russia from Perm. Driving three days in each direction, of course, is tiring and costly (I have a gluttonous SUV), but in the south it is convenient to have your own car and go wherever you want without thinking about buses or excursions. With your car in the south, you will have access to all the sights and wild beaches. Traveling by car with a family or a group of friends is almost always cheaper than traveling by plane or train.

Almost all the way from Moscow runs along the excellent M4 Don highway - it is a pleasure to drive along it. The only thing that upsets us is the absence of normal cafes, they are almost all completely awful and they trade by buying themselves reviews on Yandex, so it is very difficult to choose a decent place. If you try very hard, you can get to Anapa even in one day, if you have a fast and comfortable car and two drivers. Distance from Moscow is about 1500 km, from St. Petersburg - about 2200 km.

After the village of Kushchevskaya, Anapa can be reached by two roads: through Krasnodar and Abinsk, or through the villages of Kanevskaya and Slavyansk-on-Kuban. I always go along the first path, it seems to me that driving along the highway turns out faster than through small villages, although after Krasnodar you will still have to drive through many villages with speed limits and traffic jams. Look at Yandex.Navigator, where it turns out faster in the current traffic situation.

Route of the way by car to Anapa, Gelendzhik and Sochi from Russian cities:

Conclusions: how best to go

Plane - the most convenient and fastest way. I advise you to give him preference.

A train it is worth choosing only if nothing works at all with air tickets. Do not forget that, in addition to tickets, you will have to spend money on food on the way. Also, vacation time is lost, because it will take a long time to travel. Do not forget that in the summer it is very stuffy and noisy in the old cars, plus the aromas of socks and beachpacks soar. Choose branded trains so you don't have to suffer a lot.

Bus suitable only for those who travel not from afar, but from neighboring cities or regions.

To drive by car reasonable in the following cases:

  • your city is not too far from the south of Russia;
  • a family or a large company is traveling;
  • no cheap air tickets;
  • you are planning to actively travel to the sights of the coast.

In other cases, personal transportation will create more inconvenience than help. Do not even expect to find free parking in Anapa: either paid parking or a tow truck.

Most often, it is more convenient to travel with a change in Krasnodar, combining different types of transport.
